Nyepi Day, one of which commemorated the holiday Hindus in each turn of the year Caka, a version of the Hindu calendar Bali, always conducted each year by stopping all activities for one full day.

as many as 1 million units of vehicles do not consume an average of 4 liters of gasoline a day and a minimum of 80 aircraft did not consume as much avtur kiloliters 1600. 1-liter gasoline or 2.4 pounds avtur produce CO2. So, as much as 13.5 tons of CO2 has been reduced square during Nyepi. 

Executive Director for the Forum for the Environment (WALHI) Bali Ni Nyoman Sri Widhiyanti said, had sent a letter to several parties, including President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono and Minister for the Environment in order to bring the message of Nyepi in the UNFCCC forum later.
